Beijing, China - On May 9, 2023, Fuwai Hospital, CAMS & PUMC (hereinafter referred to as "Fuwai Hospital") used Columbus™ 3D EP navigation system independently developed by Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MicroPort EP) in combination with the first contact force sensing catheter – FireMagic™ TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter (hereinafter referred to as "TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter"), EasyLoop™ 3D Circular Mapping Catheter and EasyStars™ High Density Mapping Catheter to complete two RF ablation procedures for AF treatment. This was the first clinical use of the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter at the hospital.

TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter is the first domestic made contact force sensing catheter independently developed by MicroPort EP and has been improved over the years. Since its first clinical use in February 2023, it has been widely acclaimed by domestic operators for its accurate contact force indication and excellent catheter maneuverability. Fu Wai Hospital is one of the largest centers for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in the world and has a very profound influence at home and abroad. The successful debut of the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter at Fu Wai Hospital was a very important milestone event for MicroPort EP, representing that the product is highly recognized by one of the best medical institutions in China. Since the launch of TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter, up to now, it has completed the use experience by 49 operators across 16 provinces, and gained the recognition and support of experts.
